ProBit Global supports using Passkeys to verify your identity for most account functions across different devices. Passkey authentication allows ProBit Global users to authenticate quickly and conveniently in just one step.
To add a Passkey, you need to install a Passkey first. Passkeys can be stored on PC, Android devices, iPhone & iPads (via iCloud Keychain), as well as in passkey apps such as Google Password Manager, Microsoft Authenticator, Samsung Pass, 1Password, and others.
How to add a Passkey
To activate the use of Passkey, please first log in to your account and proceed to your “My Page - Security” section:
- After logging in, click “My Page” in the top right corner, then select your email address from the dropdown menu as shown below.
- Navigate to the “Security” section and find the Passkey option in the “Two-factor authentication (2FA)” section. Click “Add” next to Passkey and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Once you've completed the Passkey setup in the Passkey app, the process will be complete.
How to log in with a Passkey
Enter your email, click the 'Next' button, and proceed with the login using biometric authentication, a device PIN, Google Passkey, or similar methods on your mobile device or website.
How to remove a Passkey
To deactivate a Passkey, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Passkey section in your Security Settings.
Find the Passkey you want to delete and click the “Delete” button next to it:
- A pop-up window will appear. Please ensure you carefully read all the information.
Note: A 24-hour restriction on withdrawal amounts will be imposed on your account after your passkey is deleted. To proceed with deleting the Passkey, click the “Continue” button.
- Then, after authenticating with a Passkey, the process of deleting a Passkey will be complete, and a pop-up will show up. Click “Close” to finish the process.
